Oceanography on the Dock
The Oceanography on the Dock program, led by PTMSC staff and volunteers, gives anyone with curiosity and enthusiasm the opportunity to be a scientist! It provides participants the opportunity to get familiar with basic principles of oceanography by teaching them to use actual testing equipment—measure parameters such as salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and more. The data collected during the program helps participants and scientists understand the health and characteristics of our local waters. Friday and Saturday from 10am-12pm on the Maritime Center dock.
