Care and Feeding of your Outboard Engine

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The outboard motor whether as the main power source or just an auxiliary, is a critical piece of safety gear. We will present some basic and routine maintenance that would help increase boating safety and chances of returning home.

Stewart Pugh

He maintains the fleet of outboards for the NW Maritime Center, Schooner Adventuress, and the Rat Island Rowing Club. He has repaired almost every type of marine engine from small trolling kickers to Navy nuclear reactors. He now teaches outboard motor and inflatable boat repair through NWMC and Sea Grant. He has closed his Port Townsend outboard shop after many years; except for teaching outboard repair and building robots.
